Information for Home Users

This page is designed to answer questions for natural gas customers using less than 1000 Gigajoules and electricity customers using less than 40,000 kWh per year.

The retail electricity and natural gas markets in NSW have opened up to competition, which means suppliers will be competing for your business.

From January 1st 2002 all NSW customers are able to make choices about who to buy electricity and natural gas from.

Already competition has seen $1.6 billion in savings for NSW customers.

And to help you make choices about what is right for you, a number of information sheets have been prepared below.

But remember before making any final decisions you should shop around for the best deal.
