Orders under section 23(1)(a) of the NBJP Act
1. Orders for Classes of Projects
Orders under section 23(1)(a) of the NBJP Act have been issued in relation to classes of infrastructure projects. The effect of these orders is to exempt a class of 'infrastructure project' as identified in the order, from development control legislation, as specified, and subject to any requirements and/or conditions as specified in the order.

Orders for Individual Projects
Orders have been issued to exempt individual school projects from specific clauses of State Environmental Planning Policy (Infrastructure) 2007, to allow complying development certificates to be issued for school facilities
