Nominations are now open for the 2013 NSW Women of the Year Awards.
These awards recognise the important role and achievements of women throughout NSW. They acknowledge women from all walks of life across the state who have helped people in their local community or workplace and often go unrecognised.
Nominations are being sought for women who are exceptional role models; who have demonstrated excellence in their career, passion or field.
The 2013 Awards for the first time include a new award category, Male Champion of Change, sponsored by Deloitte. This award acknowledges the role that men play in brokering change and gender equality for women in the community and in the workplace.
The 2012 Awards were a great success, with hundreds of nominations and thousands of votes received. The public participated in the selection of Award winners for the first time.

Nominations close at 11.30pm, Sunday 16 December 2012.
Winners will be announced at a reception hosted by the NSW Premier on 7 March 2013 at Parliament House, on the eve of International Women’s Day.
