The Urban Transport Statement: Responding to the Challenges of Travel and Transport within and across Sydney was launched by the Premier, Morris Iemma, on 20 November, 2006.
The Statement outlines the Government's response to Sydney's transport challenge, and includes initiatives to increase the availability and reliability of public transport across the Sydney region.
The Urban Transport Statement facilitates the implementation of key transport priorities identified in the State Plan.
