The workshops, delivered by Northern Rivers Performing Arts (NORPA) and supported through RA’s Regional Community Flood Risk Awareness Project, were deigned to build long term community resilience by supporting young people to engage imaginatively with ideas of preparedness, care, and recovery.

- Stokers Siding Public School.
Through movement, storytelling, and collaborative performance-making, students drew on their lived experiences and hopes for the future.
The artistic responses from students involved in the workshops will feed into NORPA’s major creative project for the year — Dinner Party at the End of the World, a powerful multi-artform work inspired by community responses to natural disaster.
This project was funded by the Australian Government through the Northern Rivers Recovery and Resilience Program.
