Join us at the library for Seniors Week as we celebrate with a variety of special events! This practical session introduces the idea of a digital legacy, and why planning ahead can make things much easier for the people who may need to look after your online accounts or pay important bills on your behalf. We’ll explore digital assets (such as online purchases, subscriptions, access codes and passwords) and digital presence (posts, photos and messages that tell your story). You’ll hear about options like memorialising social media profiles, nominating trusted contacts and closing accounts, and how this can help prevent identity theft and protect your digital reputation.
