Overview of this event
As we age, time spent with friends and family often diminishes due to increased frailty, moving, or loss. Combined with the discomfort many feel in asking for or accepting help, this can lead to more time spent alone than we might desire.
This workshop will guide you in reflecting on how to actively build your personal networks and connect to the resources you need. You’ll also explore the concept of ‘Death Literacy’ and discover ways to enhance yours (don’t worry, we’ll keep it lighthearted!).
Additionally, you’ll learn about the new Compassionate Connector Program and how you can participate, either as a recipient or a volunteer.
