Overview of this event
Gladesville Library will be hosting a potentially lifesaving information session in partnership with Royal Life Saving NSW. This hands-on workshop is will empower you to know that YOU can save a life, no matter your age or ability. Learn how to answer potential risks to family or friends. A special morning tea will be provided for all attendees. This workshop is designed to engage vulnerable communities including seniors, multicultural groups and people with disabilities, by building your confidence to respond in an emergency. You will gain knowledge and experience of CPR and the use of an AED by taking part in an interactive session detailing DRSABCD and how to communicate with ‘000’ when an emergency occurs.
