Overview of this event
Everyone has a story worth telling. As part of NSW Seniors’ Festival, local writer and journalist Sarah Armstrong leads a warm and welcoming Memoir Writing Workshop designed to help participants capture their memories and experiences on the page. In this guided session, Sarah introduces simple, practical techniques for shaping personal stories — from small moments to meaningful life reflections. With a focus on curiosity, confidence, and connection, the workshop creates a supportive space where participants can explore their own voice, regardless of writing experience. No prior writing skills are required — just a willingness to reflect, share, and discover the power of your own story. This session celebrates lived experience, creativity, and the joy of storytelling at any age.
