Overview of this event
Family History - Where Do I Start? Family history can seem complicated and it can be difficult to get started. This session will provide an overview of the resources available through Liverpool City Library, both online and in the Family History Centre.
Facilitated by eServices Librarian, Stephanie will also provide a practical session on how to get started and learn how to use Amplify? Amplify is a platform designed to make available audio collections from the archives of cultural institutions across New South Wales. These oral histories, many of which have been digitally preserved from their original format, are made available online along with machine-generated transcripts.
In this session, Local Studies Officer, Leonie, will guide you through the Amplify program. Light refreshments provided.
