Overview of this event
Enjoy a relaxing morning of drawing with award-winning local artist Jose Gutierrez at the City of Canada Bay Museum.
Designed for beginners to intermediate participants, this workshop for seniors (ages 55+) will focus on drawing a still-life arrangement of museum objects, specially selected by the artist in collaboration with the museum’s curator.
Jose Gutierrez received his art education from a very young age in Chile and graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Santiago. He is passionate about painting, teaching, and discussing all things art. As an active member and President of the Drummoyne Art Society, Jose regularly participates in art shows and solo exhibitions. His artworks can be found in Australian and overseas private collections.
Space is limited, so get in early to secure your spot! This event is part of the 2026 Seniors Festival.
