Overview of this event
Discover the art of writing family stories that connect generations in this engaging workshop with writing facilitator Keith Whelan. Through practical exercises, guided reflections and creative prompts, you’ll learn how to turn personal memories into vivid, meaningful stories that celebrate your family’s character and history. Working together as a pair, such as a parent and child, or grandparent and grandchild, you’ll explore shared memories, capture your unique voices and begin creating a short memoir piece to preserve as a family keepsake. Tickets: $12 (plus Eventbrite fees) admits two attendees. This event is part of the Bridging Generations program, celebrating creativity, connection, and community across generations.
