The Consolidated Budget Management Guidance (the guidance) is a comprehensive resource setting out the core expectations and requirements of budget management in the NSW public sector. It is designed to support senior decision-makers and public sector employees with non-financial backgrounds.
The guidance represents existing policy, and complements existing Treasury Policy and Guidelines and operational guidance issued to agencies throughout the year. The guidance will be reviewed and updated annually to incorporate any key policy amendments approved by Government.
