NSW Treasury Notification of a GSF agency status form

The accountable authority for a GSF agency must notify the Treasurer within one month after the entity becomes a GSF agency.

Although not required under the GSF Act, notifying Treasury of changes due to administrative arrangements order or by provision of an Act (including establishment, abolition, change of name or transfer) helps Treasury keep the GSF agency list up to date. The exception for notifying Treasury is where there are substantial administrative arrangements changes across the sector involving many agencies.

The accountable authority can use this form to notify NSW Treasury within one month after the entity becomes a GSF agency.

• Listed GSF agency per section 2.4(1)(b)-(g)
• State Owned Corporation per section 2.4(1)(h)
• Statutory body representing the Crown per section 2.4(1)(i)
• NSW Government agency per section 2.4(1)(i)
• Entity with money held in an SDA account as per section 2.4(1)(j)
• Public service agency not already covered by above as per section 2.4(1)(k)
• Prescribed in the Government Sector Finance Regulation 2024 as per section 2.4(1)(l)
• Controlled entity per section 2.4(2)

Name of GSF agency

• State the name of the legislation, instrument or arrangement establishing the entity
• Identify the accountable authority of the GSF agency
• Who is the relevant contact and their email (point of contact for Treasury queries)? e.g. CFO, finance officer
• Date the entity became a GSF agency or was abolished
• Any other information that is relevant (e.g. reason for change)
