Welcome message for new licensees and approved managers

Hi, I’m Tarek Barakat. I'm the Deputy Secretary for Hospitality and Racing in NSW. Congratulations on becoming a licensee for the first time.

Our vision is to ensure that the hospitality and racing sectors in NSW are vibrant, safe and responsible. We work together to help the industry grow in a way that meets community expectations but also minimises harm.

At Hospitality and Racing we're focused on creating a vibrant and safe nighttime economy. In NSW we work closely with our key stakeholders, including people like yourselves, and the Office of the 24-hour Economy Commissioner to achieve this.
