Hospitality Concierge outreach program
Liquor & Gaming NSW's Hospitality Concierge has launched its new regional and remote outreach program in the Central Riverina area to consult with business owners and support industry growth.
The three-day tour included visits to pubs and clubs off the beaten track, including Jerilderie, Moama, Tooleybuc and Barham.
The meetings outlined changes made by the NSW Government to revitalise the hospitality, live music, entertainment and cultural sectors, including increased incentives to host live music, approvals for outdoor dining for events or ongoing purposes, and liquor and gaming reforms.
The program will head to Ballina/Byron and Bega regions later this year.

NICC outlines its achievements in Delivery Report 2025
The NSW Independent Casino Commission (NICC) has outlined its progress and achievements from the past six months in its Delivery Report 2025, which has been published online.
The report highlights the work taken to fulfil the NICC’s priority projects, which are set out in the Strategic Plan 2024-25.
Chief Commissioner Philip Crawford said the NICC was working hard to ensure both NSW casinos were establishing a culture that was safe, responsible and resistant to criminal infiltration.
“We are seeing big improvements in the operating environments at both Crown and The Star but there is still a lot more work to do to ensure this continues.”

Filming of gaming machines on licenced premises

Liquor & Gaming NSW has recently become aware of social media content creators publishing content depicting people playing gaming machines which have been filmed inside licensed premises in New South Wales.
Hoteliers and Registered Clubs are reminded that they may be held liable under Section 43 of the Gaming Machines Act 2001 if they have been found to publish, or caused to be published, any gaming machine advertising. This means any advertising that gives publicity to, or promotes participation in gambling activities involving gaming machines.
