Food waste separation requirements

Liquor & Gaming NSW (L&GNSW), in collaboration with the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), hosted a webinar to support and educate licensees on upcoming Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) requirements. The NSW Parliament will mandate the staged rollout of FOGO collection services for businesses and institutions from July 2026. The EPA is working with industry, communities, and councils to ensure the transition is well supported and effective.

The NSW Government has introduced a modified NSW licensing framework to support the NSW Airports liquor licence transition including specific amendments to ensure a smooth regulatory handover. 

Vibrancy Reforms

The NSW Government passed the 24-Hour Economy Legislation Amendment (Vibrancy Reforms) Bill 2025, the third major package of changes to revitalise the night-time economy. This webinar will focus on the safety initiatives as part of the reform package and what they mean for you. Promoting naloxone at licensed premises

Naloxone is a fast-acting, easy-to-use medication that temporarily reverses the effects of an opioid overdose. It is safe and available free of charge without a prescription at participating pharmacies, for all workers with first aid training.
