3.9 South East and Tablelands

Health
- Continuing to deliver the:
- $330.0 million Eurobodalla Regional Hospital Redevelopment
- $165.0 million Goulburn Hospital Redevelopment
- $40.0 million Bombala Multipurpose Service
- $26.6 million Cooma Hospital Redevelopment
- $20.0 million Batemans Bay Community Health Centre
- $1.8 million Women’s and Family Maternity Care Centre at Yass.
Education
- Upgrades to specialist facilities at high schools in Batemans Bay, Bowral and Moruya as part of the High Potential and Gifted Education School Partner Program.
- Continuing to deliver the Googong Public School Upgrade Stage 2, the Jerrabomberra High School Upgrade Stage 2 and the new Bungendore High School.
- Ongoing work to progress delivery of the Government’s 100 public preschools commitment, including at Boorowa Central School, Jindabyne, Moss Vale, Queanbeyan East and Queanbeyan South Public Schools.
- $885,000 for Community Connectors to continue providing support to First Nations high school students in Bega.
Transport and Roads
- $101.1 million over four years to continue improvements on the Barton Highway for road safety (NSW and Australian Government funded).
- $21.2 million over four years to continue for pavement surface upgrades on the Hume Highway at Marulan.
- $14.7 million additional funding to upgrade the intersection of Yass Road, Bungendore Road and Ellerton Drive in Queanbeyan East, bringing the total commitment to $33.7 million.
- $10.0 million for planning and early investigations into transport network improvements in and around Narooma, including Narooma Bridge (NSW and Australian Government funded).
- $1.5 million additional funding to upgrade Cuttagee Bridge, bringing the total commitment to $15.0 million.
Communities and Justice
Continue to deliver:
- $25.0 million for major upgrades to the Goulburn Police Station
- $23.4 million for major upgrades to the Bega Police Station, including a new forensic facility
- $2.0 million Moss Vale Fire Station upgrade.
Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water
- $18.1 million in additional funding from the Australian Government for the Yass Water Security Treatment Plant to upgrade treatment processes and electrical and control systems to enhance compliance with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
Primary Industries and Regional Development
Continue to deliver:
- $196.3 million in the Snowy Mountains region for essential infrastructure to support housing and all-year-round tourism, benefiting the community
- $5.3 million to expand the Gaden Trout Hatchery to build resilience into fish populations within the Upper Murrumbidgee catchment.
