Urgent Care Service boost for Quakers HillA new Urgent Care Service opened its doors to patients in Quakers Hill on 12 May 2025. The community can now access bulk-billed non-emergency healthcare in a more timely way, and avoid unnecessary trips to the emergency department. |

Health
- Continuing the new Glendenning Ambulance Station, which will boost frontline emergency mobile care for the Glendenning and Doonside communities as part of the $615.5 million NSW Ambulance Infrastructure Program.
- Continuation of the $120.0 million Blacktown Hospital and Mount Druitt Hospital expansion.
Education
- Upgrades to specialist facilities at Mitchell High School as part of the High Potential and Gifted Education Partner School Program.
- Work is ongoing to progress delivery of the NSW Government’s 100 public preschools commitment at the following sites: Blackett Public School, Blacktown North Public School, Crawford Public School, Emerton Public School, Hebersham Public School, Lynwood Park Public School, Melonba Public School, Nirimba Fields Public School and Shalvey Public School.
- A new primary school at Grantham Farm, including a new preschool, to support communities in the North West Growth Area.
- Continuing local upgrades at the following schools: Chifley College Mount Druitt Campus, Crawford Public School, Riverstone Public School, Seven Hills High School and Shalvey Public School.
- Other projects underway include: Nirimba Fields – new primary school, including a new preschool, Riverbank Public School Upgrade, Schofields/Tallawong – new high school, Schofields Public School Upgrade, Tallawong Public School – new primary school, including a new preschool, and The Ponds High School Upgrade, as part of an additional 600 classrooms across North West Sydney.
- Investment in attracting and retaining teachers led to schools in Blacktown starting the 2025 school year with 17 per cent fewer vacancies than the same time in 2023, and 52 per cent fewer vacancies from the peak of the teacher shortage crisis.
Transport
- $392.8 million over four years for Richmond Road widening between the M7 and Townson Road, and $152.6 million over four years for widening at Elara Boulevard.
- $80.0 million for the Western Sydney Heavy Vehicle Rest Area, jointly funded by the NSW and Australian Governments.
- $74.0 million for planning for the Richmond Road Corridor Upgrade.
- $30.0 million over four years for planning for Townson and Burdekin Road Upgrades, jointly funded by the NSW and Australian Governments.
- $10.0 million for road upgrades around the future Rouse Hill Hospital.
- $3.5 million for planning for the Francis Road Rail Overpass at Rooty Hill.
- $1.5 million for planning for the Flushcombe Road and Bungarribee Road Intersection Upgrade.
- More frequent buses between Rouse Hill and Parramatta.
