Penrith Whitewater Stadium to host the 2025 International Canoe Federation Slalom World ChampionshipsThe Australian and NSW Governments are providing a combined $3.2 million to Paddle Australia to support the hosting of the International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Championships at Penrith Whitewater Stadium from1 to 6 October 2025. Approximately 300 competitors from 50 nations will compete in the World Championships across ten events. |

Health
- Continuation of the Nepean Hospital and Integrated Ambulatory Services Stage 1 and 2 redevelopment, an investment of more than $1.0 billion.
Education
- Upgrades to specialist facilities at Chifley College Dunheved Campus, Cranebrook High School and Glenmore Park High School as part of the High Potential and Gifted Education Partner School Program.
- Continuing local upgrades to Kingswood Park Public School and York Public School. Other projects underway include a new high school at Jordan Springs.
- Investment in attracting and retaining teachers led to schools in Penrith starting the 2025 school year with 43.3 per cent fewer vacancies than the same time in 2023, and 61.6 per cent fewer vacancies from the peak of the teacher shortage crisis.
Transport
- $196.5 million for Mulgoa Road Stage 2 (Glenmore Parkway to Jeanette Street).
- $116.2 million for the M12 Motorway (M7 to the Northern Road).
- $58.8 million for Mulgoa Road Stage 1 (Blaikie Road to M4).
- $3.4 million for Coreen Avenue and Coombes Drive Upgrades (Australian Government funded).
- $1.9 million for Coreen Avenue and Lemongrove Road Signals (Australian Government funded).
Continuation of:
- new dedicated bus services connecting Penrith to the new Western Sydney International Airport
- $3.6 billion over four years for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport, delivering six new Metro stations to service the future Western Sydney International Airport and Aerotropolis
- $833.4 million over four years for Mamre Road (Stage 2) construction between Erskine Park and Kemps Creek, jointly funded by the NSW and Australian Governments
- $580.1 million over four years for Elizabeth Drive upgrades, jointly funded by the NSW and Australian Governments.
Planning, Housing and Infrastructure
- $5.2 million over two years to ensure Penrith Beach continues to provide a place to swim for Western Sydney.
- $4.0 million across two years for essential water and asset management works at Penrith Lakes.
- Continuation of the $309.0 million redevelopment of Penrith Stadium.
