Budget Paper No.02 Performance and Wellbeing Statement

Purpose and scope

Budget Paper No. 2 Performance and Wellbeing Statement presents NSW Government performance information and key budget measures organised by wellbeing themes. The objectives of this paper are to:

• report on both the performance of government services and the wellbeing of the NSW people
• meet the Government’s legislated performance reporting requirements under the Government Sector Finance Act 2018
• showcase the Gender Equality Budget Statement which outlines the investments and progress we are making to advance gender equality in New South Wales, and how gender impact assessments are being incorporated into policy design.
