NSW Budget 2026–27 Key budget charts

To enhance the transparency and accessibility of information underpinning the NSW Budget Papers, the NSW Government is providing key financial information in accessible charts.

Global conflict and rising inflation have created a more challenging environment for the economic outlook since the 2025-26 Half-Yearly Review. The Reserve Bank of Australia has increased interest rates three times since early 2026. As a result, economic growth is set to slow, and the labour market is expected to gradually ease.

In the above charts, Budget projection refers to the 2026-27 Budget projection released on 23 June 2026. The 2025-26 Half-Yearly Review projection was released on 19 December 2025.
