Health

• New maternity unit at Grafton Hospital worth $20.0 million.

Continue to deliver:

• $265.0 million Port Macquarie Base Hospital redevelopment.
• $263.8 million Grafton Hospital redevelopment.
• $13.0 million Lismore Ambulance Station.
• $3.4 million Mullumbimby Ambulance Station.

Education

• 6,149 teachers receiving a pay rise.
• Four public preschools under construction, 13 schools built since 2024 and seven schools under construction.
• Ongoing delivery of the government’s 100 public preschools commitment, including at Bowraville Central School, and Lennox Head, Tacking Point and Wollongbar public schools.
• Continued funding for Lennox Head Public School relocation and upgrades at Casino High School as part of the High Potential and Gifted Education Partner School program.
• New funding to deliver stage 1 of community open space for Pottsville High School, including initial sporting facilities.

Transport

• $30.0 million to plan upgrades to the M1 Pacific Motorway from Tweed Heads to Byron Bay (in partnership with the Australian Government).
• $2.0 million in 2026–27 to upgrade the Alphadale Road and Bruxner Highway intersection.

Continue to deliver over four years:

• $227.3 million for the Coffs Harbour bypass.
• $22.1 million to continue improvements to Waterfall Way.

Net zero transition, energy, environment and water

• $241.1 million over two years to 2027–28 to continue the Resilient Homes Program – Northern Rivers, to enable flood tolerance for existing houses.
• Supporting tourism, jobs and investment with an initial $6.0 million for businesses in the Great Koala National Park region, in addition to worker support and industry compensation, and $140.0 million for the establishment of the park.

Communities and justice

• $28.0 million in 2026–27 to continue the Regional Police Station program for the Northern Rivers. 
• $4.5 million to support three North Coast homelessness service centres. 

Primary industries and regional development

• $7.0 million to rebuild and deliver the NSW Cattle Tick program, protecting our state’s livestock industry.
• $5.0 million for works in the Richmond, Evans, Brunswick and Tweed catchments to improve river health and restore natural hydrologic functioning to deliver environmental, social and economic benefits.
• $467,000 to establish and develop outdoor industry skillsets amongst the Aboriginal communities of Bowraville and surrounds.

Continue to deliver:

• $4.1 million Northern Rivers Regional Cold Storage and Distribution Facility project, which will improve supply chain efficiency, enhance market access, and increase cold storage availability and food security.
• $1.5 million NSW Gateway and Tweed Heads Regional City CBD Revitalisation project, providing streetscaping, infrastructure, placemaking and CBD activations.
