Continue to deliver:

• $558.0 million Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital redevelopment to provide enhanced and expanded health care services (funded by the NSW, Victorian and Australian governments).
• $250.0 million Griffith Hospital redevelopment.
• $95.0 million Temora Hospital redevelopment.
• $25.0 million Finley Hospital upgrade.
• Funding for the Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service, Riverina Medical and Dental Aboriginal Corporation and Viney Morgan (Cummeragunja) Aboriginal Medical Service for co-design, implementation and evaluation of culturally safe mental health care models.

Education

• 3,420 teachers receiving a pay rise.
• Five public preschools under construction, two schools built since 2024 and five schools under construction.
• Funding to continue the Western Workforce Activation Program, creating new childcare places in Carrathool and Hay shires.
• Ongoing delivery of the government’s 100 public preschools commitment, including at Beelbangara, Wirlinga (Albury), Deniliquin South, Hanwood, Leeton and Parkview public schools. 
• Continued funding for Wirlinga (Albury) new primary school, upgrades at Parkview Public School and new halls for high schools in Griffith, and upgrades at Kooringal High School in Wagga Wagga as part of the High Potential and Gifted Education Partner School program.
• Plan for the rebuild of Deniliquin High School.

Transport

• $120.0 million in 2026–27 for the Regional Corridor Upgrades – Euston to Tocumwal, supporting the South West renewable energy zones (REZ).

Continue to deliver over four years:

• $234.4 million for grade separations on the Inland Rail alignment south of Parkes.
• $77.3 million for planning the Newell Highway flood mitigation works.

Net zero transition, energy, environment and water

• $224.8 million to accelerate delivery of network infrastructure to support up to 2.5 gigawatts of renewable energy generation and storage in the South West REZ.

Primary industries and regional development

• $4.0 million to expand Ravensworth 50,000-head feedlot to 75,000-head in Hay Shire, creating jobs, boosting service industries in surrounding towns and supporting national food security.

Continue to deliver:

• $212.2 million Wagga Wagga Special Activation Precinct to be a sustainable hub of agricultural and food manufacturing.
• $4.6 million Deniliquin regional airport runway extension and taxiway reconstruction project.
• $4.0 million Bullanginya Daborra Dungalla upgrade, a community partnering with Traditional Owners and First Nations businesses.
