  1. ‘Mapping the Budget 2025-26’ is sourced from Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of Budget Paper No. 3 Infrastructure Statement.  Please note project locations are approximate and some projects are unable to be shown on the map.
  2. Please see the map’s ‘how to guide’ tab for guidance on how to optimally use this resource.
  3. The expenditure (‘Where the money goes’) and revenue (‘Where the money comes from’) charts are sourced from Budget Paper No. 1 Budget Statement.
  4. ‘Where the money goes’ presents recurrent expenses using the Classification of the Functions of Government (CoFOG-A) framework.
  5. Budget data visualisations last updated 23/06/2025.
