About the Presenter and their company:
Sharmin Rahman brings over 10 years of experience in higher education, specializing in Work Integrated Learning, student placements, and industry partnerships. She has worked across Go8 universities, including the University of Adelaide, University of Sydney, and University of South Australia, where she led program development, clinical and professional placements, and student engagement initiatives.
As the National WIL Coordinator for Business at Australian Catholic University, Sharmin connects students with meaningful internships while supporting businesses to build effective, mutually beneficial programs. Her expertise spans stakeholder engagement, strategic placement management, and process improvement, helping organizations leverage student talent to drive growth and innovation.
