About Uptown District Showcase

The Uptown Accelerator culminates with the District Showcase where districts are given the opportunity to pitch their vision to potential partners and collaborators.

Over three years, 65+ districts have taken part in the Showcase where more than 1,400 connections have been built between districts and potential partners.

Uptown District Showcase 2024

The Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner is excited to introduce the latest cohort of up-and-coming districts from across Greater Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast, and Illawarra-Shoalhaven.

24 districts presented at the 2024 District Showcase which featured:

Engaging and inviting 2-minute pitches from each district, outlining their vision
An understanding of this emerging and savvy breed of brick-and-mortar businesses
Insights into the evolving landscape and going-out economy of NSW.
