Controlling the risks of workplace sexual harassment: A guide for businesses

This practical guide is designed to help NSW businesses and others who have duties under the NSW work health
and safety laws to better understand how to manage WHS risks of sexual harassment in their workplaces.

This guide is intended to provide general information to help duty holders navigate the risk management framework and possible control measures to manage WHS risk of sexual harassment by providing easy to understand examples.

This guide complements the SafeWork NSW Code of Practice: Sexual and gender-based harassment, 2024 and NSW Code of Practice: Managing psychosocial hazards at work. These Codes provide guidance about how to achieve the WHS standards required under WHS laws.
