Current applications for exemptions to trade on restricted days are published below  for public comment.

Public comment is open for 14 days from the date each application is published.  All feedback received during this period will be considered.

Publishing decisions

Once a decision is made, the outcome of either approved or declined will be published below.

Applicants or other interested parties may seek a review of the decision through the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT)

Appealing a decision

The applicant may request an internal review of a refused decision within 28 days after the published outcome.

The review will be conducted by an independent officer and will consider: 

• the application process
• the reasons for the decision
• compliance with legislation
• any relevant case law. 

NSW Fair Trading will respond within 21 days of the appeal submission. 

If the internal review is also refused, the applicant may then appeal to NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).
