Service providers delivering intervention services and their capabilities and number of CVE initiatives

Providers’ capability to deliver services and the availability of those services are key factors in ensuring appropriate service provision.

This indicator is about the number of services available and the capabilities of providers to deliver an appropriate level of service provision.

Capabilities to deliver intervention services cover:

  • funding and staffing levels
  • demand for existing services
  • staff knowledge, skills and experience.

This relates to the existence of formal referral and assessment processes, as well as risk mitigation strategies.

Identifying the groups and clients who are the targets for help will also be relevant to assessing service capabilities.

Outcomes

This indicator supports the outcome of Diversion.

Outcome 2.4

Individuals at risk of becoming violent extremists have access to and use programs and services that divert them away from violent extremism
