Coffs Harbour Aboriginal Family Community Care Centre Inc. (Abcare) is an incorporated non-government Aboriginal community-based organisation that has delivered services to local Aboriginal people and families on the North Coast for more than 35 years.
Abcare services Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas, south to Nambucca, west to Ebor and north to Yamba/ Maclean, encompassing the Gumbaynggirr, Bundjalung and Yaegl nations. Abcare is governed by a board of Aboriginal elders.
Aboriginal Affairs Family Records Unit
Aboriginal Affairs NSW provides a family records service to help Aboriginal people access some NSW Government records about themselves or their ancestors. The service prioritises Stolen Generation survivors. Find out how to apply and access other records and support services.

Aboriginal Child, Family and Community Care State Secretariat (AbSec)
AbSec is the peak organisation dedicated to the welfare of Aboriginal children, young people and families in New South Wales. AbSec advocate for the rights of our little ones and youth to provide crucial support to families, carers and communities. AbSec's vision is that all Aboriginal children and young people are looked after in safe, thriving Aboriginal families and communities, raised strong in spirit and identity, with every opportunity for lifelong wellbeing and connection to culture, and surrounded by holistic supports.
Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc (AECG)
The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. is a non for profit Aboriginal organisation that provides advice on all matters relevant to education and training with the mandate that this advice represents the Aboriginal community viewpoint.
The NSW AECG Inc. promotes respect, empowerment and self-determination and believes the process of collaborative consultation is integral to equal partnership and is fundamental to the achievement of equality.
Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council
The Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council of NSW (AH&MRC) is the peak body and voice for 52 ACCHOs (Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations) across NSW and works to ensure ACCHOs have access to an adequately resourced and skilled workforce to provide high-quality health care services for Aboriginal communities.
Aboriginal Statewide Foster Carer Support Service
AbSec provides free, confidential telephone advice, advocacy, and support for carers of Aboriginal children and young people in NSW. It helps with cultural, financial, and care-related queries, available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
Anglicare Aboriginal Partnerships, Canberra
Anglicare Aboriginal Partnerships in Canberra, through Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT, offers culturally grounded support, including the Eden Canoe Project for youth, Wise Practice framework care, and community-based programs (foster care, family support) aimed at fostering connection to Country, strengthening cultural identity, and enabling community-led self-determination.
