Call for local manufacturing of medical supplies

The NSW Government is calling on local manufacturers to help supply medical equipment and hygiene products to our essential services workers.

Critical supplies in demand

We’re looking for manufacturers of parts and products – or businesses that can convert their production line and re-tool quickly – to produce critical supplies including:

The supply constraints affecting personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant are expected to continue for at least 12 months.

Register your interest and we’ll connect eligible suppliers with NSW Government buyers.

Through our central database, we will ensure that NSW Government agencies delivering frontline services can get the products they need.

Registration is instant and free

If your business can manufacture the critical supplies required, you can sign up to the COVID-19 Emergency Supplies register. There is no fee for registering your company.

To start the process, you will need to register through eTendering.

    • If you have registered previously, you can use your existing details.
    • If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset your password.

Complete the form with all required information when you register. You must at least complete all fields marked with a red asterisk (*). Include your current Australian Business Number (ABN) if you have one.

    Next steps

Once you have completed and submitted your registration, we will:

      • complete a review which takes approximately two weeks
      • contact you if we have any questions
      • provide your details to all NSW Government departments.

Producing these critical supplies will help by providing people with the protection they need, while keeping as many workers as possible in a job.

There is no guarantee of any orders being placed with your business as a result of registration.
