Casino Service Centre temporary closure
Casino Service Centre will be temporarily closed from today (Friday 19 August 2022) to repair damage caused by recent flooding events.
Service NSW Regional Manager Jeremy Conlon said a Mobile Service Centre would be in place to ensure the community was able to continue to carry out transactions and access information as required.
“A recent inspection of the centre found previous water damage has impacted on the building and remediation work is required to ensure the safety of staff and customers,” Mr Conlon said.
“This work will potentially close the centre for about three months.
“We understand it has been a challenging year for locals and appreciate patience while the remediation work is completed.
“The Mobile Service Centre would be available next week to allow residents living in Casino and surrounding areas to access more than 1000 NSW Government transactions.
“The Mobile Service Centre which will be stationed in the carpark of the Casino Service Centre at 158 Walker Street will be open 9am to 4pm next Monday to Friday to ensure continuity of services and our staff are looking forward to serving the community.
“Service NSW is looking into setting up a temporary facility in Casino following that. Customers can also complete transactions via the Service NSW website, by calling 13 77 88 or visiting Lismore Service Centre, which is about a 25-minute drive from Casino.”
