NSW Aboriginal Business Strategy 2026-31

This Strategy sets out a clear, whole-of-government approach to strengthening a self-determined Aboriginal business ecosystem in NSW over the next 5 years.

It provides a coordinated framework for the NSW Government to support Aboriginal businesses through every stage, while embedding Aboriginal leadership and ways of knowing at the centre of implementation.

The NSW Aboriginal Business Strategy 2026-31 provides a plan to enable a thriving Aboriginal business sector, and drive growth and innovation across NSW’s economy.

It was developed in consultation with the NSW Aboriginal Business Taskforce, Aboriginal business owners and key industry leaders.

The Strategy recognises the critical importance of Aboriginal self-determination in maintaining strong, sustainable business and employment opportunities.

The Strategy supersedes the NSW Roadmap for Aboriginal Business Growth 2023-26, which has provided a strong foundation for success.
