Overview of this event
Community Hub days provide assistance to vulnerable people, who are in crisis, and needing support due to:
- Unemployment
- Financial hardship
- Family and domestic violence
- Mental health issues
- Homelessness, and
- Insufficient identity documents
The Hub is a one-stop-shop of services across the Government and Non-Government sectors working together to increase connections to ensure people are linked with the most appropriate service at the right time.
The Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) Community Engagement team will be there assisting the vulnerable, homeless and disadvantaged to access birth certificates and to provide 1:1 support to access other BDM services.
Other services include:

- Service NSW
- Revenue NSW
- Department of Communities and Justice
