We’re improving the Swimming Pool Register to provide clearer, more reliable pool compliance information, helping to keep pools safe for families and communities across NSW.
The updated register will deliver a user-friendly experience and provide clearer and more accurate reporting of pool compliance and inspection outcomes required under NSW legislation.
Key improvements include:
The updated register will launch in mid March 2026.
After it has launched, councils and building certifiers will begin using the updated register for managing swimming pool and spa compliance.
If you already have an account on the Swimming Pool Register, you do not need to create a new one.
Existing council and registered building certifier account holders will receive a welcome email with instructions to reset their password when the updated register goes live.
The website URL address will remain the same, and you can continue accessing the register as you normally do.

To help local councils and certifiers prepare for the updated register, we’ll be running webinars that walk through the key changes, demonstrate common tasks, and provide support navigating the updated register.
