Building Commission NSW issues warning on Raveen Vishal Nand and RPN Homes Pty Ltd
Building Commission NSW has issued a warning notice under section 23 of the Home Building Act (1989) regarding Raveen Vishal Nand and RPN Homes Pty Ltd.
The warning comes as an ongoing Building Commission NSW investigation has identified that Mr Nand and RPN Homes may be engaging in serious misconduct, including:
- Conducting residential building work without the appropriate licence.
- Misuse of another licensed builder’s identity and licence details.
- Falsifying Home Building Compensation Fund certificates.
- Significant defective work across multiple building sites.
Mr Nand and RPN Homes Pty Ltd are known to operate in parts of Western Sydney, including in the suburbs of Seven Hills, Rouse Hill and Miller.
Building Commission NSW is continuing its investigation into Mr Nand and RPN Homes, including undertaking inspections, and is also considering further enforcement action.
Further enforcement action may include Stop Work Orders and/or court proceedings.
If proved, the alleged misconduct identified in this investigation can attract severe penalties, including fines of up to $330,000 and 12 months imprisonment.
Homeowners are reminded to ensure a contractor is licensed prior to handing over any money using the NSW Government’s Verify NSW website.
Additionally, if contracting a business to do more than $20,000 of building work on a home, it is important to check the business is providing valid insurance before work commences.
The Verify NSW website can also be used to check Home Building Compensation Fund cover.

Raveen Vishal Nand is listed as the sole director of RPN Homes Pty Ltd (ABN 52 645 658 322). Neither Mr Nand or RPN Homes are recorded as holding or having ever held a NSW contractor licence.
