Investor interest grows as Jindabyne Mountain Bike and Adventure Park Expressions of Interest open
The eyes of the mountain biking community are on the Jindabyne Mountain Bike and Adventure Park, with strong interest from investors at home and overseas with the NSW Government’s formal Expressions of Interest open.
A recently completed Registration of Interest, designed to gauge demand for world-class outdoor adventure experiences in the Snowy region, attracted strong national and international interest, with 70 submissions received over six weeks.
Once completed, the park will be a major attraction for the Snowy Mountains, offering unique and inclusive experience for riders and adventure seekers of all ages and abilities.
Investors and operators are now invited to submit formal Expressions of Interest to develop and operate the park, providing them with a unique opportunity to deliver a major tourism experience, bringing the project closer to delivering new recreation, tourism, economic and lasting benefits to the region.
This process includes providing proposals for the international standard competition trails and other features that could include accommodation options, dining venues, family friendly facilities and a range of complementary adventure activities.
Mountain biking and adventure tourism is rapidly growing across regional NSW and Australia creating strong demand for new, high quality riding destinations.
With its alpine setting and established year-round visitor appeal, Jindabyne is uniquely positioned to capture this momentum and emerge as a flagship location for the sport.
It is expected to deliver significant economic benefits to the region, supporting local jobs, boosting year round visitation and creating new opportunities for businesses and the wider community.
Submissions close next Wednesday 18 March at 3pm. Interested parties need to get their Expression of Interest submission in on time to be considered for this exciting project.
