NSW-SA cross-border agreements and actions

The NSW-SA cross-border agreement will facilitate collaboration between the two states. Collaborative activities under the agreement will improve outcomes for border communities.

The NSW Government is currently in discussions with the South Australian Government. The two states will negotiate and sign the first Memoranda of Understanding for Cross-Border Collaboration.

The two states agree to collaborate on areas of priority. 

These include

  • better service delivery
  • community resilience to disasters
  • health and wellbeing
  • regional economic development.
