Queensland–NSW cross border agreement and actions

NSW has a cross-border agreement with Queensland. The agreement helps states collaborate on activities that improve outcomes for border communities.

In April 2024 the NSW and Queensland Premiers executed a new Memorandum of Understanding for Cross-Border Collaboration. The two states agree to collaborate on areas of priority. These include better service delivery, community resilience to disasters and regional economic development.
