We offer a free complaint and enquiry service for:
- performers
- performer representatives
- venue representatives
- venue hirers.
Know your rights
We handle entertainment industry matters relating to:
- non-payment of fees, or
- deductions that exceed the capped fee to a performer for services under an Entertainment Industry Agreement or an Entertainment Industry Managerial Agreement from performers within the meaning of the Entertainment Industry Act 2013.

Making a complaint
When lodging a complaint about the Entertainment Industry you should include:
- a copy of the agreement
- copies of any receipts or remittance advice provided by your agent in relation to your complaint
- copies of any correspondence where you have tried to resolve the dispute
- copies of any other relevant documents.
How Fair Trading handles your complaint
Your complaint will be reviewed to find the most appropriate resolution.
This may include:
- providing you with information to help resolve your complaint
- recording the complaint issues to assist in future compliance programs, or
- contacting the other party to try and resolve the dispute.
