NSW Fair Trading Commissioner, Ms Natasha Mann, has today warned consumers not to deal with 'Mos X Daily', an online retail store offering sea moss products via the website 'http:/ /mosxdaily.com'.
Between January 2024 and January 2025, NSW Fair Trading has received 45 complaints about Mos X Daily. Consumer complaints relate to pre-paid online orders with concerns about:
- Substantial delays in receiving products ordered
- Products not supplied
- Poor quality or out of date products
- The business ceases communication when consumers raise their concerns.
Also, of concern to NSW Fair Trading is that Mos X Daily promotes that a portion of each sale is donated to charity 'One Dollar One Dream'. To date, it has not been substantiated that the funds have been transferred from the business to the charity.
NSW Fair Trading is concerned that consumers that order from Mos X Daily may be at financial loss.
Anyone who has dealt with Mos X Daily and the website and is not satisfied with their interaction is urged to lodge a complaint via our website, at any Service NSW centre or call 13 32 20.
