John Kim disqualified and real estate licence cancelled
Real estate agent John Kim has been disqualified for 5 years after a serious breach of trust account obligations.
NSW Fair Trading has cancelled the licence of Epping real estate agent John Kim and disqualified him for five years after finding he had misappropriated $300,000 in trust funds.
Mr Kim was found to have acted unlawfully, improperly, and unfairly and was found not to be a fit and proper person to be involved in the direction, management or conduct of the business of a licensee.
Mr Kim was also found to have carried on his business Winners Realty Ptd Ltd after the corporation licence had expired in January 2023.
NSW Fair Trading is assessing potential further legal action, and will liaise with other government agencies.
This disciplinary action is recorded on NSW Fair Trading’s Name and Shame Register.
