Buronga COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic closing

The public can still obtain a COVID-19 vaccination at the Wentworth Vaccination Clinic every Wednesday at Wentworth Town Hall from 1pm to 4pm. Walk ins are available, or to book a vaccination or booster appointment the public can access the Federal Government’s Vaccine Clinic Finder:https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility.

Vaccination clinics are also in operation and accessible by the border residents in Mildura and Swan Hill, Victoria.

The decision to close the Buronga Outreach Vaccination Clinic was based on negligible attendance at this site which has been the trigger for Far West LHD’s transition to ‘business as normal’.

The District also has capacity to ramp up operations if demand increases.
