FWLHD Carer Support Group launch accommodation directory
To acknowledge and raise awareness of the significant contributions made by unpaid carers, the Far West Local Health District's Carer Support Program has introduced the 'Adelaide Accommodation Directory'.
This directory highlights the 10 nearest accommodation options for each hospital in Adelaide, helping patients who need to travel there for medical treatments or specialist appointments.
It also includes information on subsidised accommodation for eligible individuals, particularly those undergoing cancer treatments. The directory has been co-designed with carers from our local community.
Copies of the directory are available at the IPTAAS office at Broken Hill Health Service or by contacting the Carer Support Program at FWLHD-CommunityEngagement@health.nsw.gov.au
