Have your say on a place name in Waverley, Woollahra, Sydney, North Sydney, Mosman and Northern Beaches LGAs
The Geographical Names Board (GNB) is seeking community feedback on a proposal by the Bondi to Manly Walk Supporters Steering Committee to officially assign the name ‘Bondi to Manly Walk’ for the 80km walking track commencing at Bondi Beach in Waverley Local Government Area (LGA) and concluding at Manly Beach in the Northern Beaches LGA.
The proposed name was chosen to reflect the origin and the destination of the walk.
The coastal and harbourside walk follows existing tracks and continues to grow in profile and use, supporting an increasing number of public events. This includes the Bondi to Manly Ultra, established in 2022.
GNB is seeking feedback to gauge community sentiment for the proposed name and suggestions for alternative names are not being sought at this time.
