The first steps to prepare the site for the $630 million Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment have commenced, bringing the much-anticipated hospital upgrade and expansion of health services another step closer for south western Sydney communities. 

Communities across the greater Hunter region are a step closer to expanded healthcare facilities, with the completion of four new link bridges marking another milestone for the redevelopment.

The new 12-storey building at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick has been officially opened, with a modern Children’s Emergency Department (ED) three times the size of the previous facility at its heart. 

A new multi‑storey inpatient unit will be the centrepiece of the Port Macquarie Base Hospital upgrade , with site plans released giving the community its first look at the transformation of their local hospital. 

New and expanded healthcare services are one step closer for the Bankstown community, with the early works contractor appointed for the new state-of-the-art Bankstown Hospital .

Construction is starting on the new $910 million Rouse Hill Hospital , marking a significant milestone in delivering a state-of-the-art health facility for Sydney’s growing north west communities.

Works on the $50 million  Glen Innes Hospital Redevelopment are set to begin in the coming months, with a builder appointed to deliver the main works construction. 

The NSW Government is investing $350 million in the Canterbury Hospital Redevelopment to expand the facility and deliver upgrades to existing infrastructure.
