Essential water main works are being carried out by Eurobodalla Shire Council along Pacific Street as part of the new Batemans Bay Community Health. Works will be carried out between 7am and 4pm Tuesday 14 October 2025, weather permitting.
During this time, a small section of Pacific Street will be closed with access to the hospital maintained from the Beach Road end and general traffic detoured via High Street. The hospital, emergency department, urgent care and local residents access will be maintained, with traffic controllers in place to manage flow. Emergency vehicles with flashing lights will continue to have priority access.
These works are required to support delivery of the new Batemans Bay Community Health on the current Batemans Bay Hospital site.
We thank the community for their patience and cooperation while they are undertaken.
The NSW Government has committed $20 million to deliver a modern, integrated, and convenient health service for the Batemans Bay community.
