Calling local artists: Help us shape the Muswellbrook Hospital Redevelopment

Expressions of interest (EOIs) are now open for artists to contribute to the new Community Health space. 

This is an opportunity to provide artworks that will help create calming and uplifting spaces for patients, families, and staff.

Up to 12 artworks will be selected and installed in the new Community Health consultation rooms and will reflect the spirit and diversity of Muswellbrook. 

Health Infrastructure and Hunter New England Local Health District in partnership with the Regional Arts Development Organisation, Arts Upper Hunter, invites artists to submit an EOI by 5pm on Friday 27 February 2026.

We welcome EOIs from artists at all career stages who are living or working in the Hunter New England Local Health District and who have a connection to Muswellbrook.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are encouraged to apply, as well as organisations and collaborative groups.
