Community invited for a sneak peek of $30 million Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment

Residents of Wentworth and surrounding communities are invited to get a sneak peek of the new $30 million Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment at Community Open Days to be held on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August 2025.

Construction of the new hospital is nearing completion, marking a significant milestone in the project’s delivery. 

Two Community Open Days will offer visitors an opportunity to explore the new health facility before it opens. Guided tours will explore key areas including the reception and waiting room, inpatient unit, palliative care room, family room, community health, back of house areas and outdoor spaces.

Work is now underway to ensure the new building and staff are prepared and ready to welcome patients, visitors and carers ahead of its official opening in the coming months.

The Wentworth Health Service Redevelopment opening date is expected to be announced shortly. The current hospital remains fully operational as work progresses on the new health facility.

The Community Open Days are free events. Spaces are limited and registration is essential.
